Moneay, December 5th:
The Freshman girls basketball team fell to Conner  34-31, while the JV & Varsity Girls teams remained undefeated on the season.
o The JV Girls defeated Conner 35-29 with Hailey Neeley leading the way with 9 points.
o The Varsity girls defeated Henry County 61-22, Allison Poore led the Bearcats with 12 followed by Rachel Lehkamp with 9. 

Saturday, December 3rd:

The JV & Varsity Girls Basketball teams improved to 3-0 on the season with wins over Gallatin County. The JV Girls won 48-28 while the Varsity defeated the Wildcats 38-28. 
The Varsity boys basketball team defeated Holy Cross 67-48.  Deonte Miles led the Bearcats with 25 points, followed by Jeremy Moran and Evan Anderson both in double figures.  
The Varsity Wrestling team finished 3rd out of 18 teams at the Bearcat Brawl.  The Bearcats defeated Lexington Dunbar, McCreary County, Christian County, and Cooper before falling to Madison Central.  
The Varsity Cheerleaders finished 2nd in the Regional Cheer Competition at Anderson County. 

Thursday, December 1st:

The Freshman Girls defeated Notre Dame 42-17.
The Freshman boys fell to Dixie, while the JV team defeated the Colonels 61-45.
The Varsity boys basketball team fell to Dixie 53-47.  
The 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball teams both defeated Henry County.  

Wednesday, November 30th:

The 7th Grade Girls fell to Trimble County 31-29, while the 8th grade girls basketball team defeated the Raiders.
The 7th Grade boys basketball team defeated Trimble County by 11, while the 8th Grade boys team defeated the Raiders in overtime.  

Tuesday, November 29th:
The JV & Varsity Girls Basketball teams both defeated the Lexington Paul Dunbar.  
o The JV Girls won 40-26, while the Varsity team won 43-42 on last second basket by Rachel Lehkamp
The Freshman, JV & Varsity boys basketball teams all fell to Beechwood.
o The Varsity was led by Deonte Miles with 10 points, while Zac Clinkenbeard and Garrett Jones chipped in 9 points a piece.  
The 7th & 8th Grade boys basketball teams both defeated Williamstown. 

Monday, November 28th:

The JV & Varsity Girls Basketball teams both defeated the Newport Wildcats.  
o The JV Girls won 60-12, while the Varsity team won 52-20. The Varsity Bearcats were led by Rachel Lehkamp and Allison Poore with 15 points each while Brooke Perry pitched in 11.  

Tuesday, November 22nd:

The 7th Grade Girls fell to Owen County 18-13, while the 8th Grade girls basketball team defeated  Bowlin Middle
Both the 7th & 8th Grade boys basketball teams defeated Owen County 

Monday, November 21st:

The Middle School Boys & Girls basketball teams swept Gallatin county last night.  

Saturday, November 19th:

The 7th and 8th Grade girls basketball teams, along with the 8th grade boys teams won the NCKC Conference tournaments this weekend:
o The 7th & 8th grade girls teams defeated Tichenor, Carroll County, and Owen County in the finals.
o The 8th grade boys teams defeated Owen County, Tichenor and Henry County in the finals.

Tuesday, November 15th:

The 7th & 8th Grade girls basketball teams defeated Tichenor, while the 7th grade boys basketball team also defeated the Trojans.  The 8th Grade boys fell to Tichenor by 4.  

Friday, November 11th:

The Varsity Football team fell to Holy Cross 13-10 in the 2nd Round of the KHSAA 2A Playoffs.  

Thursday, November 10th:

The 7th grade girls basketball team defeated Henry County 48-12 last night, while the 8th grade girls won big over the wildcats. 
7th Grade boys basketball team defeated Henry County big last night, while the 8th grade team lost to the Wildcats by 12. 
Wednesday, November 9th:

Both the girls and boys middle school basketball teams (7th & 8th grades) swept Grey Middle School last night.  

 

Saturday, November 5th:
The girls Cross Country team placed 5th in the KHSAA State Meet, with Caileigh Waters finishing as the State Runnerup!!!!  Ashley Akins finished in the top 15 in state!   
The boys Cross Country team placed 10th in the KHSAA State Meet, with Andrew Schultz placing 23rd in the state to lead the Bearcats. 
Friday, November 4th:

The Varsity football team defeated Newport High School 50-0 on Friday night in the first round of the KHSAA 2A Playoffs.  

Thursday, November 3rd:

The 7th Grade Boys basketball team defeated Gallatin County 33-14, while the 8th grade boys basketball team won big over the Wildcats
The 7th Grade Girls basketball team defeated Gallatin County 35-17, while the 8th grade girls basketball team won 51-18.  

Tuesday, November 1st:

The 7th Grade girls’ basketball team defeated Williamstown 47-26, while the 8th grade girls won big over the Demons
The 7th Grade boys’ basketball team defeated Williamstown 45-22, while the 8th grade boys won 44-24.

Saturday, October 29th:

The varsity girls cross country team finished 3rd in the region on Saturday, while the boys finished 4th.  
o Both teams qualify for the KHSAA State Meet on Saturday in Lexington at the Horse Park
o Andrew Schultz led the boys, finishing 7th
o The girls were led by 8th Grader Caleigh Waters finishing 5th.  

Thursday, October 27th:

The Varsity Volleyball team fell to Oldham County last night in the 8th Region Semi Finals.  The girls capped off the best season in school history with 29 wins, district, All “A”, and Conference Championships.  Great job girls!      
Monday, October 24th:

The Varsity Volleyball team defeated Shelby County in four sets last night to advance to the semi finals of the 8th Region Tournament. 

Saturday, October 22nd:

The JV Football team defeated New Richmond 38-6.
The Middle School Football Team finished their season undefeated by defeating Tichenor 26-0 in the Middle School Final.  
The 7th Grade Girls Basketball team went 1-2 over the weekend at the KBA State Tourney.  They defeated McNabb Middle School, but fell to Pulaski and Anderson County.  
Friday, October 21st:
Varsity football team fell to New Richmond 28-7
Wednesday, October 19th:

The varsity volleyball team won the 32nd district championship by defeating Simon Kenton in 4 sets.  Grace Wallace and Rachel Lehkamp named to the all-tournament team, with Angel Wilson named the tournament MVP!
Tuesday, October 18th:

The Varsity Volleyball team defeated Grant County in the Semi Finals of the 32nd District Tournament in straight sets.  

Monday, October 17th:

The Varsity Girls Soccer fell in the regional tournament to Anderson County 2-0.  The girls finished the season with a 12-6-2 record, champions of the NCKC Conference and 8th Region All “A”.
